Are my items insured?

We recommend having comprehensive car insurance for the vehicle. If you have insurance coverage, your item should be covered in one of our host’s locations.

Hosts are not personally liable for damages not directly caused by the host, themselves. If you have questions about your items, we recommend contacting your insurance agent to confirm your coverage.


STOW IT offers Property Protection for an extra monthly charge at our locations. This Property Protection is a protection plan that covers certain damages and theft up to a pre-determined amount for a monthly fee. You can learn more about our optional Property Protection Plan here.
