Host Questions

Listing your space on STOW IT is free. We start charging fees when you start your first reservation. These fees go towards covering payment processing, taxes, and marketing. We spend most of these fees on marketing our site to attract new renters.

10% Host Fee
We collect 10% of your list price each month when we bill the renter. For example, if you list your space for $100, you will make $90 each month.

There is a $5 minimum host fee if the 10% fee is not $5 or greater. This means on a $40 list price, you will make $35 per month. This allows us to cover our payment processing fees on short-term reservations.

$10 One-Time Setup Fee
For each new renter, there is a one-time $10 setup fee charged to the host on the first payment only. For example, on a $100 listing, the first month you will make $80 (10% fee + $10 setup fee), and then each additional month you will make $90.
